SBA Offers Travel Tips For Busy Fourth Of July Weekend


SANTA  BARBARA, CA – Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) anticipates a busier-than-usual travel period from Thursday, July 1 through Monday, July 5 during the Fourth of July holiday. Visitors to Santa Barbara Airport during this time should be aware of ongoing construction at the Airport and adhere to all posted speed limits.

Please PLAN AHEAD


Passengers and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and give themselves 90 minutes to two hours to find parking, check their luggage and go through the security checkpoint to ensure they are at their gate in time for their flight. For the latest travel tips and security requirements, log on to www.flysba.com.  As a reminder, fireworks are prohibited and should be left at home.

Short Term Parking and Long Term Parking Lot 1 are located adjacent to the Terminal at a rate of $20 per day for Short Term Parking and $9 per day for Long Term Parking. The first 15 minutes are free in the Short Term Lot for those dropping-off and picking-up passengers.

Long Term Parking Lot 2, located on Frederic Lopez Road near the corner of Hollister and Fairview Avenues is $9 per day with free shuttle service to/from the Terminal every 10 minutes.  To save time, Long Term Parkers may opt to drive directly to Long Term Parking Lot 2 since Long Term Parking Lot 1 at the Terminal is close to capacity today.
